Sitting a few meters away on a lawn chair I quickly grabbed my camera and shot about 30 photos in rapid fire style of my brother in law throwing his kids in the air, while in the pool. After loading them to the computer and browsing through I was shocked, no actually some what stunned that this one, turned out so good. Great composition and colors. I have to say this sums up the days events…lot’s of smiles and fun.

Feels good to harvest from a bunch of buckets of dirt up on our roof. We still have a lot more tomatos coming along with cucumbers, watermelon, a couple of ears of corn, maybe a squash and some mint/basil/fennel…..I love my garden!!!

An overexposed photo become magical. This was barely touched in post production and is a result of a great chance over exposure, and some beautiful scenery. Enjoy.

There’s a tool called Tiltshiftmaker online that let’s you fake Tilt-Shift photography. I would love to play with a real lens sometime but for now I’m happy to have the chance to fake it. I do want to know though the optic science behind why a simple blurring suddenly makes object appear to be toy like. Odd, and yet so magical. Oh and make sure to click on the photo to get the full effect.

It’s a murder of crows, a gaggle of geese, herd of cattle, so what is the group of magnifying glasses called? A focus? A focus group?
